The College and Career Program at ANS guides students in grades 8鈥12 through a structured, skill-building curriculum that prepares them for life after high school. Each grade level emphasizes key areas like self-awareness, career exploration, and college planning. With personalized guidance, workshops, and real-world experiences, students build the confidence and skills needed to thrive in college and beyond.

How we build leadership and career skills through weekly workshops
The purpose of ANS鈥檚 PAW (Personalized Advancement Wednesdays) and CLAW (College/Career & Leadership Advancement Wednesdays) is career and leadership development; to offer our students courses that prepare them for ethical leadership in an increasingly global world. All CLAW courses are taught by credentialed and experienced professionals in their field and follow curriculum developed by leading/reputable organizations and institutions.
How students gain real-world professional experience
The ANS Internship Program offers 10th and 11th graders real-world experience in professional settings, both on and off campus. Students build essential skills, expand their networks, and explore career interests. By connecting academics to the workplace, the program promotes leadership, responsibility, and future-readiness.
How students create meaningful community impact
The Senior Capstone Project allows students to design and implement a project on a topic they care about, with the goal of creating real community impact. With support from mentors, students engage in research, planning, and problem-solving. The experience concludes with a Capstone Fair, where students present their work to the school community.
How we keep parents involved and informed
Parents are invited to three engagement sessions per year: an orientation meeting, a mid-year check-in, and an end-of-year transition session. These events help parents stay informed about grade-level goals, celebrate student growth, and prepare for upcoming milestones. Additional workshops focus on the college application journey, including financial aid and admissions processes.聽
